Picture1aI am the proud 3rd Generation owner of the Shave family business which was started in 1960 by my Grandparents.  I have over 14 years’ experience in the Human Resources sector.  I draw upon my heritage to ensure that all business relationships are based on fair, ethical and honest foundations.

I have been a member of Family Business Australia (the peak body for Families in business) for over ten years and have served on the Victorian Committee and in addition, I am a past Chair of the National Next Generation Committee which has given me some tremendous exposure and insights into both the benefits and issues facing Family Businesses in Australia.  Very often professionalising a family business creates many HR complications, however, with the right process and communication in place it can also add true value and benefits to both the family and business.

My professional career started within the FMCG Marketing management which saw me working within the Australasian market before being given an opportunity to live and work in the UK.  Moving into the family business in 2001, I have been able to bridge corporate commercial business needs with the human resources sensitivities.
